Mahayana Buddhism is not a static, solitary practice—it is a dynamic tradition of embracing all. Adapting to today’s fast-changing society, the Grand Master introduced five approaches to demonstrate the mutual relationship between Buddhism and other disciplines: daily living, education, arts, science and academia. The Five Directions accommodate the needs and interests of different people and cultures, opening a multitude of doors for the discovery of the benefits of Buddhism and the achievement of true liberation.
